Vonnie G. Sadler, 85, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Brookdale at Grandon Farms, Mechanicsburg.
Born on August 22, 1936, in Newville, PA, she was the widow of Robert Sadler.
Vonnie was a 1954 graduate of Newville High School. She was retired from Byerly Insurance Company, Camp Hill, after 37 years. Vonnie loved to golf and was a former member of both the Carlisle and West Shore Country Clubs. She was an avid Penn State sports fan. She was also a past member of the Women's Club, and a long-time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill.
Vonnie is survived by her son, Michael Over and his girlfriend Angela, of Camp Hill, and a sister, Mary Rudy, of Carlisle.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, William R. Over, and a son, David Over, and a brother George Gutshall
A celebration of Vonnie's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. John H. Brock officiating. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
