Virginia M. Schumacher passed away at the age of 83 on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at her home in Camp Hill, PA. Born October 28, 1930 in Easton, PA she was the daughter of the Late Wilmer and Florence Eckert. Virginia graduated from Easton High School in 1948 and worked for Binney & Smith after graduation. Later in life she worked with her husband Jack managing snack bars in both the Transportation and Strawberry Square Buildings in Harrisburg until retiring in 1993. She enjoyed traveling with her family and watching and rooting for her Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates sports teams. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Jack Schumacher. Surviving are her three children, Thomas Schumacher and wife Diane, of Mechanicsburg, PA, Susan Margotta and husband Tim of Robbinsville, NJ, and Cathy Schumacher, of Camp Hill, PA; three grandchildren, Nicole Natoli and her husband Joseph, Matthew and Tyler Margotta as well as two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Joseph Natoli. She is also survived by a special friend that took very good care of her, Sheila Ellison. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday March 15, 2014 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St. Camp Hill, PA. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
