Virginia "Ginny" (Miller) Leber, 84, of Camp Hill, PA often wore a sweatshirt that read, "The one who dies with the most fabric wins." On Monday, July 6, 2026, following a tragic accident in her home, she claimed her victory.

Born on September 2, 1941, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Bessie (Schultz) Miller. Crowned Miss Wilsonville 1956, she was a graduate and active alumnus of both Norristown High School ('59) and Albright College ('63). She later returned to school at Harrisburg Area Community College where she worked until her retirement.

Ginny had a lifelong passion for fiber arts and textiles: spinning, weaving, sewing, quilting, collecting, and collaborating with friends and colleagues, including her "Spinners and Weavers" group of nearly 50 years and the LeTort Quilters of Carlisle. She relished a lifetime of summers at Sunny Point on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos. While she traveled extensively and couldn't pass up a good craft show or quilt shop, Ginny's greatest joy was gathering with family at holidays, picnics, or any other excuse to get together. Her love of friends and family was possibly surpassed by her love of their pets and, above all, dark chocolate.

Fiercely independent, she brought to the party a sharp wit, an atlas-like knowledge of roads and directions, remarkable memory, meticulous attention to detail, infectious laugh, subtly playful and animated spirit, and her own jar of iced tea.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, R. Clarke Miller, and his wife Elizabeth (Elser) Miller.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew D. Leber (Lisa) of Oak Park, IL and Andrew R. Leber (Amy) of Mechanicsburg; grandson Ethan R. Leber of Mechanicsburg; her former husband, David C. Leber, MD of Mechanicsburg; five nieces, eight grand nieces, a great-grand niece, three great-grand nephews; and many grieving branches of the Schultz family tree. She is and will be sorely missed by these people and countless others who have known her.

A celebration of Ginny's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 31, 2026, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA with visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
