Clarence R. Halleran (Tom), 62, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday January 2, 2014, at the Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Harrisburg, PA. He was surrounded by loved ones through his journey home.

Born on January 21, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Jean and Red Halleran of Pittsburgh, PA.

Tom was a graduate of Community College of Allegheny County with an Associate's Degree in Digital Electronics. He held an FCC license and was a registered electronics instructor. Tom held various positions in electronics quality control and assembly over the years. He recently retired from Flight Systems as a Supervisor of Electronics Assembly.

In addition to his wife Laura, he is survived by his son, Evan Halleran, of Harrisburg and three sisters; Shirley Bristow, Kathleen Mahon and Alice Halleran all of Pittsburgh. His many nieces and nephews brought great joy to his life and he celebrated their successes. Most recently he attend the marriage of his niece Colleen Graham.

Tom had the gift of gab and made friends everywhere life took him. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Virginia Tech football. Tom's greatest pride was his son, Evan, who he coached in numerous sports and was always the number one fan during every practice and game.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday January 7, 2014 in Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 South 22nd Street, Camp Hill, PA, with Pastor Tom Willard officiating. A viewing will be held at Myers-Harner Funeral Home at 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA on Monday January 6, 2014 from 6:30 -8:00 P.M.
