Thomas S. Vancena 60, of Mallard Run Apartments passed away Wednesday June 24, 2015 at Manor Care Camp Hill. He was employed by Stephenson's Flowers. In addition to his work at Stephenson's Flowers, Tom also worked as a volunteer at Mallard Run Apartments where he received an award for dedication to volunteering and improving the quality of life for the Mallard Run Apartments Community. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen H. and Beverly Stephenson Vancena. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother; Frank, and sister, Ann Marie. Thomas is survived by three brothers; Stephen F., and wife Donna Vancena of Camp Hill; Michael S., and wife Denise Vancena of Harrisburg; and Joseph S., and wife Carol of Ohio. Two sisters; Susan M. Bowman and husband Geoff of Ohio, and Mari DeLauter of Ohio. In addition to his brothers and sisters, Thomas is also survived by his stepmother Darla Vancena. As well as several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Thomas will be Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. A viewing will be held Monday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
