Obituary

Theda Viola Bonning Thomas, 98, of Lincoln Street in Camp Hill passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Church of God Home in Carlisle. Born March 22, 1917 in Plymouth PA she was the daughter of Minnie Mae and Corey Bonning.
Theda retired from S.S. Kresges where she was the manager of the toy department. Prior to this she managed a Woolworth store in Plymouth, PA. She was a member of the Wyoming Chapter No. 1. Order of the Eastern Star where she held the post of Past Matron. She was also a member of the Camp Hill Church of God.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 58 years Charles. Surviving are her children Charles J. Thomas Jr. and his wife Linda and their 6 children of Burlington, NJ, a daughter Karen K. Holbrook and her husband Dennis and their 2 children of Montrose, PA, and son David A. Thomas and his 4 children of Camp Hill, PA and 5 great grandchildren. In addition, she leaves behind her sister Jean Truchon of Kingston PA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the Camp Hill Church of God, 123 N. 21st Street, Camp Hill, PA. There will be a viewing in the church on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Indiantown gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
