Wm. Terry Wentzel, 75, of Mechanicsburg, entered into eternal peace on Monday May 23, 2016 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Frances (Roberts) Wentzel. He leaves behind his older brother Fred Wentzel, of Springfield, VA, and his loving wife, Angie Wentzel, of Mechanicsburg, PA. He also leaves behind his five children, Deborah Richardson, of Leesburg, VA, Lisa Marie Predmore, of East Berlin, PA, Tim Wentzel, of Etters, PA, Kate Shingledecker, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Patrick Wentzel, of Lexington, VA, as well as 2 step children, Christopher Wherley, of Harrisburg, PA, and Tiffany Lightner, of New Cumberland, PA. He loved his 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Terry was a 1958 graduate from William Penn and continued to serve on their reunion committee. He also was a 1963 graduate from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science. He founded Professional Pharmacy located in the Medical Arts Building in Camp Hill, PA. He also founded Cumberland Apothecary in Camp Hill where he served as a Compounding Pharmacist to the community. He was a past President of the Capital Area Pharmacy Association (CAPA) and a member of the West Shore Elks Lodge #2257. He enjoyed many years on the Chesapeake Bay where he was an Honorary Commodore at the Baltimore Yacht Club. He will forever be remembered for his love of boats, snowmobiling, horses, and love for his family.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday June 4, 2016 at Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A visitation with his family will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the start of the service.
