Obituary

Sandra A. Williams, 77, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her daughter's residence in Red Lion, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 7, 1948, to the late Joseph and Mildred (Adamski) Racilla. On October 23, 1971, she married Michael J. Williams, her beloved husband of 47 years, who preceded her in death in 2019.

Sandra worked as an LPN for the former Blue Ridge Haven Nursing Home and later retired from Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Harrisburg.

Sandra had a heart full of love and a gift for making ordinary moments extraordinary. She found joy in baking, hosting celebrations, and creating cherished family traditions, especially at Christmas, a season she brought to life with her love and enthusiasm. She took great pride in her Polish heritage and the traditions she lovingly passed down through generations. Her many interests included Elvis Presley, horror films, musicals, crosswords, cryptograms, and even WWE wrestling! Strong-willed, spirited, sassy, yet incredibly sweet, Sandra loved fiercely and left behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and traditions that will be treasured for generations.

Sandra is survived by her children, Christopher (Lisa) Williams of New Cumberland and Nicole (Chris) Austin of Red Lion; grandchildren, Logan and Lola Williams, and Ellyana Austin; siblings, Rose Marie (the late Victor) Stasney of Harrisburg and John (Susan) Racilla of Hummelstown; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Rev. William Forrey officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
