Sandra (Sandy) A. Leeson, of Mechanicsburg, PA, formerly of Bath, OH passed away on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at Legend at Silver Creek.

She was born February, 16th 1949, at Peoples Hospital in Akron, OH, the daughter of the late Cecil Beaty and Patricia (Harris) Posey. She married Allen Leeson and celebrated 31 years of marriage prior to her death.

Sandy was a graduate of Bath High School and Walsh University School of Nursing in North Canton, OH. She enjoyed her nursing career at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY and Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital in Niagara Falls, NY. Later in her career, she worked in home health care and Hospice before joining CoreSource in Lancaster, PA where she retired from in 2014.

Sandy and Allen moved to Millersville, PA in 2005 and then retired at Traditions of America in Mechanicsburg, PA in 2016. She enjoyed walking, spending time with friends, traveling and listing to music. She had a passion for crafts and was famous for her pillows that were a hit at the craft fair at TOA. She loved to play Euchre with friends and family.

Sandy is survived by her children, Erin Mere of Manlius, NY, and her husband Mohammed Mere and grandchildren Tarrik, Laith and Aaliyah. Son, William Clark of Charlston, SC and daughter, Kate Clark of Rochester, NY. Her Stepson, Chad Leeson of Niagara Falls Ontario and his wife Allison and grandchildren Caelum and Elora. Stepson, Cory Leeson of Edmonton Alberta and his wife Judy and grandchildren Pine and Willow. Stepdaughter, Jenny Walker and her husband Corey and grandchild Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Shanks.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
