Sally Marie Kirchner, 87, of Enola, PA, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA.
She was born June 3, 1939, in New York, NY, to the late Anthony J. and Dorothy E. (Littebrandt) Fiske.
Sally was a registered nurse, working at various hospitals over the years, including Harrisburg Hospital, Pennsylvania State Hospital, and Scranton State Hospital. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and a proud member of the lunch bunch. Sally's greatest joys were her family and friends. As her family's biggest supporter, she took immense pride in their accomplishments. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Sally is survived by her husband of five years, Louis "Barry" Rich, of Enola, PA, three daughters, Katherine Lucas (Lawrence), of Harrisburg PA, Karen Brazil (Jeffrey), of Scranton, PA, and Susan Bingham (James), of Yardley, PA, a sister, Irene Corby (James). six grandchildren, Lauren Hanos (Matthew), Kristen Andrews (Cheyne Wago), Francis Bingham (Kristina), John Brazil, Amanda Bingham, and Lindsey Lucas, six great grandchildren Andrew & Colin Hanos, Oiwi & Koa Wago, and Freyja & Aurelia Bingham.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Paul Kirchner, a brother, Lawrence Fiske, and a sister, Barbara Steindel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 225 Salt Rd, Enola, PA 17025, with Rev. Matthew Smith as Celebrant. A visitation will be held in the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass. A reception will be held in the church following the Mass. A private family burial will be held following the reception in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, PA.
