S. Jane (Kime) Myers, widow of Sidney J. Myers (2010) died on July 9, 2020. Daughter of the late Harry and Hilda Kime she was born in Adams County, graduated from Biglerville High School in 1945 and went back there to work as secretary in the high school office. Later employment followed in the Department of Landscape Horticulture in the then Pennsylvania State College and later engineering firms in the Harrisburg area. She was a long-time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill and Women of Trinity (Treasurer 10 years). She enjoyed volunteering in the church office and was a member of the church library staff for 36 years. Active in scouting as a Den Mother, with training at Philmont Scout Reservation, New Mexico, she was a recipient of the Order of Merit in 1963. She had been President of the National Society of Professional Engineers Auxiliaries Board as well as President of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers State Council of Auxiliaries and thrice President of the Auxiliary to Harrisburg Chapter PSPE. She was a recipient of the Engineers' Wife of the Year Award and was recognized in 1990 by the Harrisburg Chapter for outstanding service to the Chapter. With her husband, Sid, she was co-recipient of the PSPE Presidents Distinguished Service Award in 1995. She was a 50-year member of the Camp Hill Woman's Club, and a loyal Penn State and Nittany Lion's Fan. Much sewing was done through the years, from snow suits to tuxedo jackets; and she was an avid reader. Sid and Jane were world travelers, but Jane's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her brother, John E.M. Kime II, (1978) Surviving are a son, Alan Myers (Carmen), Bradenton, FL; a daughter, Wendy Myers Boyer (Carl), Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Lindsay Boyer Robb (Travis), Ashburn, VA; Kelly Boyer Taylor (David), Dillsburg; and David A. Boyer, Reston, VA; three great-grandchildren, Mason and Dylan Taylor, and Hannah Robb. All services will be private, and interment will be held at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Columbarium.
