Obituary

Ruth B. Aubrey, 79, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday August 9, 2014 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born on May 2, 1935 in Sharon, CT, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Freda (Bredbenner) Becker and she was the widow of James R. Aubrey.
Ruth was a graduate of Amenia High School, NY, and went on to graduate from the Springfield City Community Hospital School of Nursing. She was a US Navy veteran who served during the Korean War. Ruth was retired from Bethany Village after 28 years as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, the Blue Mountain WAVES, American Legion Post 109, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the FRA Unit 999.
She was survived by her son Brian and his family, Lisa, Emily and Lydia, all of Duncannon, her daughter Marcia and her family, Susan and Logan, all of Mechanicsburg.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Robert Becker.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday August 18, 2014 in the Myers- Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A viewing will be held in the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday August 17th and also on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will be held at 1:30 P.M. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
