Rosalyn Metro, 95, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg.

Born on September 26, 1928, in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Mardell R. (Strong) Stydahar, and she was the widow of Joseph M. Metro.

Rosalyn was a graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree from the former Indiana State Teachers College, in Indiana, PA. Rosalyn was a retired Art Teacher for the Camp Hill School District. She taught at Camp Hill for over 17 years. She was a longtime member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Group and was a Circle Member with the church.

Rosalyn is survived by a daughter, Lisa Guevara, of Camp Hill, PA, a son, Joseph Metro and his wife Rebecca, of Arlington, VA, and two grandchildren, Kathryn Metro, of Woodstock, GA, and Andrew Metro, from Arlington, VA.

In addition to her husband Joe, she was preceded in death by a son, John D. Metro.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd St., Camp Hill, PA, 17011. A viewing will be held in the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be held immediately following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
