Robert Edward Smith passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the age of 67, after a long-fought battle with dementia.

Robert was born on June 5th, 1956, in Honolulu, Hawaii as the eldest son to the late Robert T. Smith and Bernice Smith (nee Dougherty). Robert was called Bob or Bobby by his family, and Irish or Conor by co-workers and friends.

He grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended St. Clement's Catholic School where he served as an altar boy. He attended West Catholic High School, Temple School of Pharmacy, and received his master's degree in Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Florida. Bob dedicated his career to Pharmacy, eventually taking an executive role as Pharmacy Director for a national health care company.

Bob was a loving father and elder brother. He had an affinity for science and always enjoyed a good craic (Irish festivity). He was a long time Notre Dame football fan, a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and dedicated to his Catholic faith.

Bob is survived by his two daughters, Kerri Lynn Branoff (Daniel) and Lauren Wirick (Jason); seven grandchildren, Aidan, Decklan, Colin, Irelynn, and Quinley Branoff, Raigan and Grace Wirick; brothers Kevin Smith (Barbara), Michael Smith, Terrence Smith, Gary Smith; sister Kelli Pupo; former spouse Linda Carroll.

Robert Conor may the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields, And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

A visitation for Robert will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 10:30 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 225 Salt Road, Enola, PA. 17025.

A burial service will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1313 South York Street, Mechanicsburg, PA.
