Robert "Bob" A. Ross, 77 of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the Silver Spring Personal Care Home, Mechanicsburg, with his wife of 56 years at his side.
Born March 16, 1946, in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Ross and Veda Young Ross. He married Linda (Hudock) Ross who survives.
Robert graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Administration. He had worked as a solutions manager for IBM. Robert was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill and a member of the West Shore Elks Lodge # 2257. Robert loved traveling to Aruba with his wife, spent many years coaching youth sports, enjoyed traveling to the PennState Nittany Lions games and going to the pool. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and walking.
Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Ross, a son Michael "Mike" Ross and his wife Mellissa of Harrisburg, his twin brother Richard Ross, and his sister Lois Hudock.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Portzline and Ruth Gibson and a brother Joseph Ross.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA with Rev. Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant.
