Robert C. Knowlton, Jr., 93, of Camp Hill, PA died Friday, October 8, at his home. A graduate of John Harris High School Class of 1945 and Lebanon Valley College, he was employed with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue for over 30 years. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force, 5th Air Force. He was a member of American Legion, Post 109, of Mechanicsburg, and a life member of V. F. W. Post 7415, New Cumberland. He was predeceased by his parents Robert C. and Marguerite (Nelson) Knowlton of Harrisburg, and by a brother, Elbridge and his wife Avis, of Carlisle, PA. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Constance, and sons Christopher (Kerry) of Virginia, Richard of Camp Hill, PA, and Kenneth of New Jersey; grandchildren Adam (Candice) Knowlton and Amber Knowlton; and great grandsons Thomas and Dillan. Inurnment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, remembrance contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
