Richard Yates, Jr., 78, of Enola, PA, passed away at the Camp Hill Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with his family by his side.

Born August 16, 1947, in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Richard and Helen (Anderson) Yates.

Richard graduated from Steelton High School. He worked for the US Navy for 25 years. He had attended the Daybreak Church in Mechanicsburg, was a former EMT with New Cumberland, and a former employee at the Silver Spring raceway and flea market.

He is survived by his wife Cindy (Lentz) Yates, of Enola, PA, two sons, Robert Yates and his wife Julie, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Timothey Meise, of New Cumberland, PA; a daughter, Christine Rigling and her husband Tommy, of New Cumberland, PA; his sister Deb Williams and her husband John, of Harrisburg, PA; seven grandchildren, McKenna, Emma, Jack, Cameron, Quinn, Kyle, and Alina; two great-grandchildren Perseous "Percy", and Autumn.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by two brothers, Timmy Yates and Doug Yates.

Funeral arrangements will be private and handled at the convenience of the family.
