Richard C. Patterson, 87, passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.
Born on August 12, 1928 in Sharon, PA he was the son of Orlando and Margaret (Pfeifer) Patterson.
He was a US Army Veteran of WWII who served in Yokohama Japan. He was a 1952 Graduate of Penn State University. Richard was a retired ceramic engineer for Pfaltzgraff. He was a Mason with the West Shore Lodge # 681., Camp Hill. American Legion Post 229, Sharon, PA, and he was of the Methodist Faith.
Richard is survived by a daughter, Janie Blasko, of Mechanicsburg, a son, Michael Patterson, of York, four grandchildren, Christine Kissel, of Harrisburg, Brooke Patterson, of York, Travis Patterson, of York, and Shane Hershey, of Arizona, and one sister, Phyllis Ayres, of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Louise Patterson
All funeral services will be private and burial will be handled at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill is handling funeral arrangements.
