Richard "Dick" Lawrence McCoy, 72 of Camp Hill, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

He was born August 25, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late John and Portia (Geyer) McCoy.

Dick graduated from Dickinson Law School in 1976. He retired as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in 2018 where he had worked for 37 years. Dick served on the Board of Directors of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers of PA for 14 years, most recently acting as the Assistant Treasurer. He volunteered with the Mission at The Eastward (MATE) building houses for underserved communities in Maine and was a regular blood donor with the Red Cross. Dick was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He enjoyed kayaking and biking on the Rail Trails. He especially loved the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and his dog, Cooper.

Dick is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth "Betsy" McCoy, his six children: Katie Dean (Tom Dean), Matt McCoy (Archana Dittakavi), Andy McCoy, Meaghan Johnson (Dan Johnson), Casey McCoy, Danny McCoy, four grandchildren Ethan Dean, Emma Dean, Vishal McCoy, and Josie Johnson, and his sister Kristy Elliott.
