Richard ("Dick") Roop Lefever, 87, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at his home.

Born on March 19, 1936, in Carlisle, PA, he was the son of the late LeVerne B. Lefever and Etta R. Lefever, husband to wife, the late Linda Lefever, and brother to the late Kathy Lefever.

Dick was a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. He spent his career as a partner with McNees, Wallace & Nurick. He was a past president of the local bar association, active in multiple charitable organizations, loved running and tennis and enjoyed traveling the country and the world, and photographing his travels.

Dick is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth, son and daughter in law, Richard and Christy Lefever, his sister, Cory L. Rothschild and her three sons, his three grandsons and his one granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America (DSA).
