Richard W. King, Jr.

Richard W. King, Jr., 61, of Norfolk passed away on October 18, 2024. He was born October 26, 1962, to the late Richard W. King, Sr. and Sue DiSanza King.

Richard graduated from Ringgold High School in 1980. From there he received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University in 1995 and graduated in 2001 with his MBA. Richard was a mechanical engineer with Huntington Ingalls Industries/Newport News Shipyard.

Rich was very close to his family. He loved life and was always trying new things. He will be sorely missed and thought of every day.

Richard is survived by his sisters; Linda S. Dolfi of Camp Hill, PA, Marylou Fine of Eighty-four, PA and Kathy Imbrescia of Monessen, PA as well as his nieces; Melissa O'Connor (Jon) of Lititz, PA and Jessica Dolfi of Brigantine, NJ and nephews; Dr. Kory Imbrescia, Kyle Imbrescia, Clayton Campa and Gilbert Szakal Jr.

A memorial service will take place at Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 with Father Neil S. Sullivan officiating.
