Raymond C. Seaman Jr., 85, of Camp Hill, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017. He was born June 28, 1932 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the son of the late Raymond C. Jr, & Hazel Seaman. Ray proudly served with the United States Army, and received an honorable discharge as a 1st Lieutenant. He retired from Penn Dot, and was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, where he taught Sunday school, and held various other positions there. He also spent many years volunteering at Holy Spirit Hospital. He loved all sports, family, and was especially proud of all his children. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Durr Seaman, his son, David Seaman & wife Marlene of Carlisle PA, and his daughters, Suzanne Baird & husband, Sean, of Moyock NC, and Laura Gayman of Elizabeth City, NC, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with the service at 1:00 pm at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St, Camp Hill PA 17011. Interment will be at Rolling Green Cemetery. A gathering will follow the interment. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services Inc.
