Obituary

Peggy A. Spickler, 88, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully, on April 9, 2017, at Masonic Village, with her family by her side. Born in Boonesboro, MD, she is the daughter of the late Homer J. and Maude (Hurd) Lacy. After graduating from Hagerstown High School, Peggy went on to work for Jones's Gas Co. in Hagerstown, MD, as a secretary, before starting a career with Blue Shield H.S. as a claims Examiner. Peggy was blessed with three daughters, Debra Boyd of Steelton, PA, Rebecca M Carter and husband Don, of Lemoyne, PA, and Tina Howanstine of Groveland FL. In addition to her three daughters she is survived by her son-in-law Gary Cramer of Harrisburg PA. Peggy had six grandchildren, Danielle Blevins, Eric Carter, Jared Carter, Lauran Carter, Michael Cramer, and Kevin Cramer, five great grandchildren, Anthony Blevins, Brandyn Blevins, Addrianne Blevins Emma Carter, and Ava Cramer. In addition to her parents, Peggy is predeceased by a sister Hazel Burger, two brothers James and Shug Lacy and a son-in-law John Howanstine. A service will be held at Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Diane M. Carraher officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
