Paul R. Miller, Jr., 86, of Camp Hill, passed away on January 9, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill.

Born on December 2, 1929 in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Paul R. Sr., and Julia K. (Russ) Miller.

He worked at Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, PA, as an inspector from June, 1947 until February, 1956. Paul was in the U.S. Air Force from June 25, 1948 until June 24, 1952 and was in Military Schools for Photography from October 18 until May, 1949, Lowry AFB, Denver, CO. From February to May of 1950 he did Photomapping, Engineer School, Fort Belvoir, VA. After 4 years of service he received an Honorable Discharge as a Sgt. from 5th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing, Travis AFB, California. He then returned to work for Hamilton Watch from February, 1956 until May, 1971. He was a Supervisor at Permutit Co, Lancaster, PA. Between August 1971 until March, 1979 he was a Warehouse Operations & Office Manager for American Parts System Inc. in Winchester, VA., Harrisburg and Camp Hill, PA. From November 1979 until January 1984 he was a Warehouse Manager for Automotive Warehouse Inc., Harrisburg, PA. Paul was the Office and Business Manager at Sarah Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle, PA from June 1985 until his retirement on December 31, 1992. He retired 2 years early so he could travel the USA and across both oceans with his wife, THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, the late Irma Bette Miller. He is survived by two sons, David L. Miller, of Maryland and Peter R. Miller, of Mechanicsburg. Two step grandsons, three grandsons, and a granddaughter. In addition to his wife Bette, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra A. (Miller) Ackerman, and a stepdaughter, Carol S. Hill.
