Paul Robert Kramer, Jr., age 96, entered eternal life with his Lord and Savior on Friday November 13th, at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital. He was born February 27th, 1924 in West Fairview, PA to Paul R. and Ellen Kramer.
Paul was in WWII, serving in the Army. Though humble about his own service, his family is very proud of his strength and heroic efforts. He and Mary were married in Paris...Paris, Texas…while he was deployed. The location of their wedding a long-time family joke. He was a devoted family man who worked hard, retiring from the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot after 35 years as a truck driver. He continued to drive tractor trailers for many years, totaling over 50 years.
Paul was an outstanding husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a friend to many, carrying several life-long friendships close to his heart. In 2014, he and Mary moved into Country Meadows Retirement Community, where he resided until his passing. Many of the staff enjoyed his company, his stories shared and his genuine, kind heart. His legacy is one of faith, fierce determination and unwavering courage. Fighting until the end, his final life lesson was taught during his last hours. Paul was a beloved treasure to his family; his and Mary's marriage was a true testament of unconditional love. He was someone who you could always count on, who would come at a moment's notice and who honored his word. Truly one of a kind!
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mary D. (Harling) Kramer in 2015. They were married for over 71 years. He was also preceded in death by some of his beloved siblings and two adored sons-in-law. Paul is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Stewart and Rosemary Gleichman Aughenbaugh (Harry), 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his siblings, Lewis (Yvonne) Kramer and Kervin (Wilda) Kramer.

Burial will be held at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
