Obituary

Patrick W. "Vern" Moore, 61, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born on June 17, 1953 in Algoma, WI, he was the son of the late William J. and Verna (Blahnik) Moore. Patrick was a graduate of Algoma High School. He was an employee of M&T Bank in Harrisburg with 15 years of employment. Vern enjoyed golfing, listening to music, and movies. He had the type of personality that made him become a friend to everyone he met. He is survived by two loving sisters, Connie M. Bjarnarson and her husband Wayne, of Abrams, WI, and Kay E. Detaege and her husband Steve, of Hobart, WI. Two Nephews, Billy Detaege, of Hobart, WI, and Chris Rye and his wife Ginia, of Hancock, WI. One niece, Kim Warden, of Gillett, WI. Two great nephews, Evan Rye, of Hancock, WI, and Brock Warden, of Gillett, WI. One great niece, Brittany Warden, of Green Bay, WI. One great-great nephew, Everett Warden, of Green Bay, WI; several relatives, and also by Ron and Gina Scheaffer and their family from Harrisburg and many more close friends and co-workers. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Vern's life on Wednesday July 16, 2014, at 6:00 P.M. in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A visitation with his family will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be handled at the convenience of the family in Algoma, Wisconsin. Patrick's family would like to thank Holy Spirit Hospital for the care they provided.
