Norman A. Smith Jr., 78, of Enola, PA, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, while being cared for at Hospice House of Central Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents, Norman A. Smith Sr. and Martha R. Smith, a brother, Ronald N. Smith as well as two sisters, Eleanor M. Weitzel and Sharon R. Smith.

He is survived by two brothers: George H. Smith of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Gary R. Smith, of Port Allegany, PA; four sisters: Carol R. Tumminello, of Mohnton, PA, Judith A. Smith of Enola, PA, Mary C. Heibel, Orrtanna, PA and Therese E. Buchanan, Clifton, VA, and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Harrisburg on April 7, 1948, and graduated from Trinity High School in 1968. Norman was a Sales Professional, and prior to his retirement he was actively involved with charitable causes in the Harrisburg area, including the Backyard Bash. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a big fan of Penn State football.

Norman was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Enola. He was a past Grand Knight of The Our Lady of Lourdes Knights of Columbus, Council 12404 and was a member of the Bishop Shanahan Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly 917.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 225 Salt Road, Enola, PA 17025. Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
