Nancy A. Meiser, 80, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Sunday April 28, 2019 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA.
Born on March 9, 1939 in Berks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis J. Kintzer and Margie M. (Sherman) Kintzer, and she was the widow of Dale T. Meiser.
Nancy was a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School in Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania. She was a retired child care provider that worked for several different Day Care Center's over the course of her career. She was a member and a greeter at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. She was a member of the Lower Allen VFW, Post 7530. Nancy loved to socialize, visit the casino, volunteer where ever help was needed, play bingo, scratch off lottery tickets, share her wisdom, have a vodka and tonic, and play games of chance at the VFW. She was a person who loved to tell funny stories and liked to make others smile. She will be remembered for her spunky attitude and witty banter right up until her final day.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheri L. Danaher and her husband Kevin, of Reston, VA; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Meiser, of Camp Hill; two sisters, Patsy Weaver, of Myerstown; and Vivian Gagnon, of New York; and four grandchildren, Katie Danaher and her fiancée Taylor Zanella, of Sheboygan, Wisconson; Sean Danaher, of Reston, VA; Brynn Marlow, of Camp Hill, and Brandt Walter, of Camp Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Meiser and her son David W. Meiser.
Burial will be private and handled at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at the Lower Allen VFW, 4545 Westport Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, Saturday June 15, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
