Nancy H. Hagy, 82, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born on July 21, 1932 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Edwin F. and Kathryn (Dodds) Hensel and was the widow of John A. Hagy, Sr.
A Head Majorette of the Camp Hill High School Band, Nancy was graduated from Camp Hill High in 1950. She went on to attend Marjorie Webster College and Penn State University.
Nancy loved to dance, collect antiques and craft. She enjoyed her summers in Cape May, NJ and visiting Disney World. She had a great love for animals. In her younger years, she performed as a band front singer with the Red McCarthy Band and spent time as a fashion model. She won the title of Miss Cape May Beach Patrol in 1949. In later years, she became a casting director for a modeling agency in Philadelphia.
She is survived by her son, John A. Hagy, Jr., of Camp Hill; two daughters: Jill H. and her husband Jon Johnson, of Bel Air, MD; Kathysue H., and her husband Howard Siemon, of Apex, NC; three grandchildren: Amanda L. Weschler, of Cambridge, MD; Krista L. Johnson, of Salisbury, MD; Addison J. Siemon, of Apex, NC; and her loving companion, Dr. Richard Gulden, of Camp Hill.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Philip K. Hensel, MD, JD; and Edwin F. Hensel, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday May 12, 2015 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
