Michael R. ldquoWildyrdquo Wildasin, 74, of Camp Hill, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Silver Springs Personal Care Home, Mechanicsburg, after a courageous battle with Parkinsonrsquos Disease. Born November 23, 1950, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Ross and Mary (Wildasin) Wildasin. Mike graduated from Hanover High School in Hanover, PA and went on to receive his bachelorrsquos degree in business management from Shippensburg University. The majority of Mikersquos working years were spent as a food broker with Dixon Associates and General Mills. After 40 years in sales, Mike retired. Mike was an avid sports fan. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and he especially loved watching and attending Baltimore Orioles games. A sporting event that was special to Mike was the annual running of the Preakness Stakes. Since college days, on the third Saturday in May, you could always find Mike with the same group of friends in the infield of Baltimorersquos Pimlico Race Track watching the race. Mike is survived by his partner of 41 years Janet L. ldquoJanrdquoEkerovich of Camp Hill, his sister Bonita A. ldquoBonnierdquo Anders and her husband Wayne of Spring Grove, PA, his brother Jerry S. Wildasin and his wife Patricia of Skippack, PA, and his nieces and nephews Neil Anders and his wife Kristi, Bailey Wildasin and Tanner Wildasin, two great nieces Haylee Bailey and her husband Lucas and Lyndee Anders, and a great-great nephew Anders Bailey. The family would like to thank the Silver Springs Personal Care Home and Hospice of Central PA for the care extended to Mike. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment of Mikersquos ashes will be in the Wildasin family plot at St. Davidrsquos Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hanover, PA.
