Michael David Mihalaki, 64, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Born on October 8, 1958, he was the son of Leona (Chappie) Mihalaki and the late Michael Mihalaki.

Mike was employed with the Central Pennsylvania Scale and Equipment Company as a weights and measures technician for over 20 years. However, Mike would argue that his time was best spent outside of work, riding his motorcycle, grilling out, and taking on landscaping projects. Above all, though, was Mike's family. They always came first, and he loved doting on his grandchildren. Many trips to the beach were made where Mike would enjoy his toes in the sand with a beer in hand.

Along with his mother, Mike is survived by his wife, Debra (Thomas) Mihalaki; two sons: Christopher Mihalaki, and his wife Suzie, and Justin Mihalaki, and his wife Kimberly; five grandchildren: Tyler, Trevor, Olivia, Kellan, and Alex; a sister: Mary Ann Wheeler; an aunt, Mamie Hanak; an uncle, John Mihalaki; one niece, Sarah Warlick, and her daughters: Lily and Delilah; and of course his life-long friend Steve Kramer.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Charlotte Thomas, who adored him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA, 17011. A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
