Obituary

Mary Selig Wolfinger, 81, of Camp Hill, passed away Sunday January 11, 2015 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg, Pa. She was born June 26, 1933 the daughter of the late Horace J. and Margaret W. Selig. She was a graduate of Camp Hill High School, 1951 and Penn State University, 1955 with a degree in Elementary Education. While at Penn State she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and President of her sorority her senior year. She married John W. Wolfinger on June 25, 1955 and after traveling three years with her husband in the Air Force they moved back to Camp Hill to raise their three daughters. Peggy enjoyed playing golf at the Country Club of Harrisburg and the Hideaway Country Club of Fort Myers, Fla. Where she was an active member of the Ladies Golf Association. Peggy was an accomplished bridge player and a member of both the Harrisburg Bridge Club and Ft. Myers Duplicate Bridge Club She was also active for many years in the Junior League of Harrisburg and a lifetime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John W. Wolfinger. Three daughters; Mary Lynn Jones and husband Gary of Bend Oregon, Susan Marschka and husband David of Lancaster and Debra Cuthbert and husband Joe of Camp Hill. 5 grandchildren: Alex, Katie and Lindsey Marschka, Max and Kelly Cuthbert and her niece, Sandra Strubel and husband Chuck. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Peggy was so loved and will be deeply missed by her husband and family. Her grace, strength and positive attitude will live with us forever. We want to thank all her friends and acquaintances for their prayers and support.
