Mary Irene McGlinchey of Camp Hill passed away at Holy Spirit Hospital on June 5, 2025, from cancer. She was born March 7, 1952, in Pittsburgh to the late Joseph and Irene (Martin) McGlinchey. Mary spent her formative years in Maryland, Florida and New Jersey, beginning and ending her life in Pennsylvania.

Mary graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in International Affairs, followed by a MBA from Penn State University. Mary enjoyed a career in international business promotion for the State of Pennsylvania.

One of Mary's main passions in life was international adventures, visiting all 7 Continents. Her travels culminated with a trip to Antarctica this past winter.

Mary is survived by her loving family, her sister, Barbara Swisher and her husband, Mark, her brother, James McGlinchey and his wife, Andrea, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Most importantly, she leaves behind her beloved cats, Buddy and Peanut.

The family would like to express their appreciation for all the care and compassion given to Mary by the nurses and doctors of Penn State Medical Group.

A private celebration of life will be held locally and in Maine. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a local animal rescue organization of your choice.
