Obituary

"She fought the good fight; she finished the course; and she has kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness..." (2 Tim 4:7-8) Mary D. (Harling) Kramer, age 90, entered into eternal life with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 8th, at her husband's side. She was born July 6th, 1925 in Camp Hill, PA to George W. and Mary V. Harling. She was a wonderful example of faith and had a life-long Christian foundation, sharing a personal relationship with Jesus. Mary was an outstanding wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a friend to many and loved to lend a hand or offer a hot cooked meal, as a token of friendship. She has left us with a legacy of faith and compassion. Her heart was genuine and self-less; her spirit was vibrant! Mary was a blessing to her family and their marriage was a true testament of unconditional love. Mary's interests included being with her family, attending her church, completing Jumbles puzzles and just sharing a good, hearty laugh in the presence of family and friends. Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 71 years, Paul R. Kramer, Jr; 2 daughters Linda Stewart (Michael) and Rosemary Aughenbaugh (Harry); 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by 3 of her siblings. She was adored by all and her life left a permanent imprint on our souls! Viewing will be held on Monday, October 12th from 12:30 – 2:30pm at Myers-Harner Funeral Home. Located at 1903 Market St. Camp Hill, PA. Burial will follow at Rolling Green Cemetery. A service will be held to celebrate Mary's life on Tuesday, October 13th, starting at 11am, at Faith Evangelical Congregational Church. Located at 600 Strites Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17111. Lunch will follow the celebration service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to Faith Evangelical Congregational Church (FECC), address listed above.
