Marjorie Stauffer, 83, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday October 8, 2015 at the West Shore Hospital. Born July 8, 1932 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Lola Williams and she was the widow of Thomas R. Stauffer.
After High School, Marjorie worked for Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator. She also was the supervisor of food service for Hampden Elementary in the Cumberland Valley School District. She was a member of the Camp Hill Church of God and attended the many fellowship classes offered by the church. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling with her family as well as reading. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Roger G. Stauffer and wife Jean of East Berlin, PA. A daughter, Lynne D. Sadler of Annville, PA. In addition to her children Marjorie was also blessed with four grandchildren, Alyssa and Bobby Sadler, and Ian and Sid Stauffer.
Marjorie was preceded in death by two brothers Russell "Rusty" Williams, and Ralph "Tubby" Williams.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday October 16, 2015 at Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Rd.,Camp Hill. A memorial service for Marjorie will follow on Friday at 3:00 PM in the Camp Hill Church of God 123 N. 21st Street, Camp Hill, PA, 17011, with Pastor Bob Malick officiating. A reception will be held in the church following the service. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, is handling funeral arrangements.
