Maria S. Seeders, 84, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

Born on February 13, 1942, in Salach, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Antonie (Zeller) Schmid, and she was the widow of George K. Seeders.

Maria was a retired blueprint clerk with the former AMP Electrical Products in Harrisburg, PA. She enjoyed gardening, the company of her kitties, and was an avid bird watcher. She also loved to prepare authentic German meals.

Maria is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Casselberry and her husband Mike, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Cindy Simmons and her fiancé Andrew Horodowicz, of Kingsville, MD, three grandchildren, Matt Casselberry and his wife Lauren, of Camp Hill, PA, Sarah Casselberry, of Nevada, and Tyler Simmons, of Maryland, two great grandchildren, Colton and Chloe Casselberry, and several nieces in Germany.

In addition to her husband George, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Josef, Ewald, and Lothar Schmid.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2026, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A visitation with Maria's family will be held in the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be private and handled at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
