Margaret ldquoGretchenrdquo R. Brewer, 96, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, PA. Born on July 25, 1928, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Paul U. and Margaret (Ogden) Reinartz, and she was the widow of Theodore Brewer. Gretchen was the founder and director of the Lincroft Center for Children in Lincroft, NJ. Gretchen loved animals, travel, and to help others. She is survived by her son, Christopher Williams and his wife Shelley, of Georgia, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and her friend Aferdita Worley, of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her husband Theodore, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Allison E. Walsky, and two brothers, Paul and Gene Reinartz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 10, 2025 in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, PA, with Pastor Jack Horner officiating. A viewing will be held in the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
