Louise Romberger, 90, of Camp Hill, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Monday June 1, 2015. Born on September 15, 1924 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late G. Harold and M. Blanche (DeVenney) Trimmer and sister to Lorena Burrell. She was happily married to Robert L. Romberger for 45 years. Louise was a Registered Nurse who trained and later worked at Polyclinic and Holy Spirit Hospitals including the operating and emergency rooms. During WW II, Louise was part of the Nurse Cadet Corps and served at an Indian Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. A devout Christian, she's been a member of Camp Hill Presbyterian Church for 56 years. She is survived by a daughter, Lois DeHart and her husband Scott, of Boiling Springs; a son, Kenneth Romberger and his wife Deborah, of Twain Harte, CA; three grandchildren, Shawn DeHart, Palmyra, Krista Bair, Egg Harbor City, NJ, Carissa Montalto, Hamilton, MA; and four great grandchildren, Kora, Macie, Kadyn and Morgan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Saturday June 6, 2015 at the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, 101 N. 23rd St., Camp Hill, with the Rev. Dr. David A. Roquemore officiating. A visitation will be held in the church on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in St. John's Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. In lieu of flowers please make donations to either the American Cancer Society or Camp Hill Presbyterian Church.
