Linda J. Wells, 78, of Camp Hill, passed away on Friday October 12, 2018 at Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born on June 1, 1940 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Ruth M. (Fisher) Comp.
Linda was a graduate of John Harris High School. She was a past member and volunteer at the former Fifth Street United Methodist Church. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her beloved cats, and over the years she worked part-time for both Wendy's and Weis Markets.
She is survived by two sons, Mark A. Wells and his wife Maryanne, of Dillsburg; and Kevin M. Wells and his wife Daphne, of Longneck, DE; two daughters, Pamela L. Emig and her husband Bill, of Gardners; and Karen A. Deimler and her husband Dwayne, of Mechanicsburg; a brother, John L. Comp, of Amston, CT; nine grandchildren, Sheila Wells, Dwayne Deimler, II, Alissa Kelly, Jessica Groff, Derek Deimler, Dillon Deimler, Kevin Wells, Mary Wells, and Seth Emig; and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with her son, Kevin M. Wells presiding. A visitation with Linda's family will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:30 A.M. until the start of the service. Burial will be held immediately following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
