Obituary

Lillian M. Kiesling, 99, passed away on Sunday November 23, 2014 at Green Ridge Village, Newville. Born on November 11, 1915 in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Lillian (Kinney) Tanseau. Lillian was a 1933 graduate of Olney High School and went on to graduate from the Pierce School of Business Administration. She was a Secretary Stenographer for Provident Mutual Life in Philadelphia for 5 years, and was a Sales Secretary for Central Soya Feed Co. in Lemoyne, for 19 years. Lillian was a member of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, Cumberland Co. Daughters of the American Revolution, and a 10 year volunteer for the Fredrickson Library. Lillian spent many happy years at Bethany Village where she was active in the reading club, taking time to read to other seniors who could no longer read for themselves due to illness. After leaving Bethany Village, she enjoyed her remaining years at Green Ridge Village where she was affectionately known as "Miss Lillian" to those who knew and loved her. Her smile, even in her final years, was warm and sweet and would light up a room. She is survived by her cousin, Charles Kinney and his wife Dorothy, of Doylestown. A memorial service for Lillian will be held at Green Ridge Village, Swaim Center, 210 Big Spring Rd., Newville, at 3:00 P.M. on Friday December 5, 2014. Burial was held in the Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
