Lahman "Lanny" D. Lambert, II, 83, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Thornwald Home, Carlisle. Born on December 28, 1935 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Bud and Hilda (Weikert) Lambert of Camp Hill. Lanny was loved for being a gentleman and a gentle man. Above all else, he was kind to all. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sally (Prowell) Lambert; his children and their spouses, Deb and Bob Baumgardner and Dan and Beth Lambert; his grandchildren Taylor, Paige, Sam, and Emmy; his sister Patty; and his many nieces and nephews. Lanny graduated from Carnegie Tech and was an Industrial Designer for AMP in Harrisburg, where he worked diligently for 35 years. A visitation with Lanny's family will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday October 11, 2019 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, with Pastor John H. Brock officiating.
