Kermit Winston. Holler, 96, a lifelong resident of Camp Hill Boro., passed away on Friday July 18, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Holler was born January 10, 1918 to the Late J.C. Lester and Marion (Stallsmith) Holler. He was a 1936 graduate of Camp Hill High School. After high school he was an electrical contractor in the Harrisburg area and worked at the New Cumberland Army Depot. Upon entering the army in 1943 he was deployed to the Philadelphia Navy Yard with the Combat Engineers 69th Division. He was discharged in 1946 and worked for the Navy Supply Depot while attending Penn State Harrisburg Center. In 1953 he joined AMP, Inc. where he was Supervisor of the Environmental Laboratory. He retired from AMP in 1982.

Kermit was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. He was a member of various fraternal organizations and clubs including a Past Commander and Life member of American Legion Post # 43, Engineers Club of Philadelphia, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Harrisburg Forest # 43, Scottish Rite Consistory, Cumberland Co. and Lancaster Co. Shrine Clubs, The Mechanicsburg Sportsman's Club, The Elks and Moose Lodge, Zembo Temple and was a 32nd degree Mason at Eureka-West Shore Lodges 302 F & AM

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ethel Weaver Holler. Together they loved to travel the world and spend time at their Florida home. He was also preceded in death by two grandsons, David Homsey in 1990 and Joseph Beigh in 2003, his brother Charles Holler, and a sister, Marion Harmison Sariano.

Surviving are three daughters, Selinda Homsey and husband Michael, of Mechanicsburg, Nedra Marshall and husband Kenny, of Camp Hill, and Oneida Small and husband Robert "B.J.", of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Steven Schaffer, of York, Jason Beigh, of Enola, Christopher Manlove and Jennifer Manlove Stever, both of Camp Hill, and Lara Homsey-Messer, of Indiana, PA, and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother and sister, Robert Holler, of Dillsburg, and Barbara Holler Snell, of New Cumberland.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday July 23, 2014 in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, with Pastor Jack M. Horner officiating. A viewing will be held on Tuesday July 22nd from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with a Masonic Service to be conducted at 7:30 P.M. An additional viewing will also be held in the church on Wednesday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
