Kelly C
Nesmith
Sep 1, 1966 — Jul 10, 2025
Kelly C. Nesmith, 58, of Camp Hill, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center with her husband by her side. She was born September 1, 1966, to the late James F. and Reba A. (Deboard) Fuller.
Kelly graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 1984, and then furthered her education at York College of Pennsylvania in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a minor in history. She worked as a trainer for student loan servicing with PHEAA for 37 years. Kelly had a love for learning, especially about history and her family's ancestry and genealogy. She had a photographic memory- she could remember everyone's birthday and special dates. Kelly loved to explore and travel with her husband, Scott. They were married February 29, 2008 in Winchester, Virginia. Kelly loved the color purple because it symbolized positivity to her. Throughout her time in the ICU, she was fortunate to have family members who continually reminded her of that uplifting spirit.
Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Scott Nesmith of Camp Hill; siblings, Jamie (Terri) Fuller of Camp Hill, and Megan (Mike) McNaughton of New Cumberland; nephew, Michael (Shae) McNaughton Jr.; nieces, Shannon Fuller, Mollie Fuller, and Maya Herdman; sister-in-law, Wendy Nesmith Herdman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, James and Sally Nesmith; and two beloved adopted kittens, Nellie and Claire. Kelly was raised Baptist and is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
