Keith L. Boyer, 86, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at his home.

He was born May 4, 1939, in Harrisburg, PA, the son of the late Lee E. and Eleanor Boyer. He married Patricia (Hoke) Boyer, and together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Keith was raised in Camp Hill, moving only one house and then one block from his childhood home. He graduated from Camp Hill High School, was an Army veteran who served in Korea, and then received his business degree from Bucknell University. A licensed CPA, Keith retired in 1999 from the Navy Depot, where he served as the Director of Base Fiscal Services.

Keith was a member of both Camp Hill United Methodist Church and Thrive in Faith Church. He was a founding member of the Pioneer Sunday School class, which organized activities such as the annual June Strawberry Festival, church dinners, and family camping outings at Gifford Pinchot State Park. He frequently opened his home for summer festivities and New Year's Eve celebrations which included ice cream sundaes. Over the last decade, Keith and Pat hosted Christmas caroling, Thrive Bible studies, and organized monthly fellowship dinners at Perkins Restaurant. Keith also served as an usher for CHUM and on their finance committee and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

If you knew Keith, you knew his love for the water. Locally, he loved boating and fishing on the Susquehanna River. He kept his boats on City Island and enjoyed watching the fireworks from the water. Keith even taught his children how to stand on a stool on a disc behind a moving boat, using his own wooden childhood disc.

One of his favorite destinations was Chincoteague Island, VA, where he and Pat owned a mobile home for many years. Keith spent countless hours looking for ponies on Assateague Island and enjoying the wildlife along "The Loop." He and Pat celebrated milestone 40th, 50th, and 60th wedding anniversaries on the beach with family, and of course, ice cream cake and bonfires (followed by searching for ghost crabs).

It has been said that Keith married Pat for her extended family, as another of his favorite places was her family's retreat at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland. He took great pride in his record of visiting the lake every year to connect with family. He also loved traveling to Sebring, Florida, where many of Pat's aunts and uncles wintered. Fishing and boating on Lake Okeechobee were highlights, along with trips to Disney World and picking oranges from his in-law's trees.

Throughout his life, he traveled to the Chaffey's Lock region of Canada. Keith enjoyed fishing these lakes as a child and later shared their beauty with his wife and children, and then continued the tradition with their families. He even coordinated trips for his Pioneer class.

Keith was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was loved by all for his warm smile, contagious laugh, and great big hugs. He was an incredibly caring person who would do anything for anybody without a second thought! He will be truly missed!

He is survived by his wife, Pat Boyer; two daughters, Patti Zart (John) of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Pam Rae (Jeff) of Elizabethtown, PA; a son, Brad Boyer (Candace) of Etters, PA; six grandchildren, Matt Zart (Joey), Erik Zart (fiancée Brenna and son Kylo), Adam Zart, Brady Boyer, Tyler Rae, and Maddie Rae; a brother, Tom Boyer (Gloria) of Mechanicsburg; and a sister, Nancy Renshaw (John) of Crownsville, MD.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Rev. Stephen Gallaher officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service, starting at 1:00 P.M.

A private inurnment will be held in the Camp Hill United Methodist Church Columbarium.
