Kathleen L. Ziegler, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at PennState Health Holy Spirit Medical Center.

Born in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lenore Souers. She graduated cum laude from Mercyhurst College in Erie, and received her Master's Degree in education from Shippensburg University.

Kathleen devoted nearly 50 years to her passion of teaching, most of which was at Steelton-Highspire Junior Senior High School, where she retired.

As a member of the Good Shepherd Church in Camp Hill, she was active as a special minister and Lectorer for 40 years. In service to her faith and community, she was active in the prison ministry at Dauphin County prison for ten years.

She was preceded her in death by her beloved husband, John O. Ziegler.

Kathleen is survived by her brother Thomas Souers of Medford, MA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Good Shepherd Church, 3435 E Trindle Road, Camp Hill PA 17011, with Father Neil Sullivan officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral mass.

Burial will be private in Trinity Cemetery, Erie, PA.
