Kathleen H. Lamay, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away at home with family at her side, on September 22, 2021. She was born on October 16, 1936 to the late T. Earle and Luisa (Bartilucci) Hutchinson in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Kathleen grew up in Drexel Hill and spent her summers at the Jersey shore. She attended Rosemont College, and graduated from the former San Diego College for Women, now University of San Diego. She married Urban R. Lamay, Jr, a recent Naval Academy grad, in 1957 and embraced the life of a Navy wife, moving her family 9 times in 20 years, before settling and establishing her legacy in Camp Hill. She had a passion for music, loved teaching piano to both children and adults, and was looking forward to her next teaching session this Fall. She was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she participated in the adult choir and helped out with the children's choir. She was a member of the Capital Area chapter of the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association and also volunteered as a school librarian, helped out with several different music programs at schools in the area, and as a guide at the William Penn Museum.

Kathleen loved spending time with her family and felt blessed to be able to remain in her home until her final days.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years and their son, Urban III. Surviving are her children: Kenneth (Jeannie) of Chesapeake, VA, Barbara of Greenfield, MA, Maria (Don) of Apache Junction, AZ, Denise Juliana (Joe) of West Chester, PA, Gregory (Raquel) of Camp Hill, PA and Anne-Marie Crossan (Mike) of Newark, DE, her sisters, Barbara Sweinberg and Joanne Schmitz, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 10 am on Tuesday, September 28th, with a one-hour viewing preceding the Mass. Burial will follow the Mass at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, PA.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, September 27th at Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St, Camp Hill.
