Kathleen M. Kush, 72, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday August 7, 2016 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born on August 8, 1944 in St. Marys, OH, she was the daughter of the late Emil N. and Gumborg M. Edith (Johnson) Simms, and she was the widow of John W. Kush, Jr.
She was a 1962 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She retired in 1994 from Atlantic Fleet in Mechanicsburg where she was in Logistics for 21 years. She had also previously worked for Pacific Fleet in San Diego, CA. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Nagel and her husband Jim, of Chula Vista, CA; a brother, David Simms, of St. Marys, OH; five nieces, Kristina A. Smith and her husband Chris, of Venedocia, OH; Julie Nagel, of Chula Vista, CA; Lisa Bloom and her husband Mike, of California; Laura Mesachi and her husband Joe, of Los Angeles, CA; and Nancy Cato and her husband Tom, of California. Two nephews, David Simms and his wife Kelly, US-Army; and Ron Nagel and his wife Randi, of California.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Cheryl Simms.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
