Judy A. Vogelsong, 76, of Mechanicsburg, PA passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her home in Mechanicsburg.
Born on January 4, 1943 in Canonsburg, PA, she is the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Hoover) Cope.
Judy was a 1961 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School in Canonsburg. She went on to complete training school to become a Key Punch. She eventually retired from Capital Products. Judy was a longtime member of St. James Presbyterian Church in Mechanicsburg. She and her husband loved vacations and traveling. More than anything else Judy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Vance Vogelsong, of Mechanicsburg; two sons, Mark Vogelsong, of Mechanicsburg, and Jason Vogelsong and his wife Jessica, of Shrewsbury, PA; one daughter, Michele Yingling and her husband Eric, of Lewisberry, PA; four grandchildren, Erin Yingling, of Marietta, PA, Zachary Yingling, of Lewisberry, Isaac and Jacob Vogelsong, both of Shrewsbury, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Polly and Lavonne Wilson; and a brother, William Cope, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday January 3, 2020 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA, with Rev. Keith Searfoss officiating. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held immediately following the service in Longsdorf Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
