Joseph B. Shuey, 79, of Dover, PA and formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Friday March 6, 2026, at the Victorian Villa in Dallastown, PA surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born November 2, 1946, in Mechanicsburg, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Pannebaker) Shuey. He married Roxie A. (Spackman) Shuey; she survives.
He graduated from Cedar Cliff High School. He retired as a principal engineer with F.C.I. Electronics and had also worked for Berg Electronics. Joseph was a member of the West Shore Eureka Masonic Lodge #302 in Mechanicsburg, and a member of the Dillsburg Shooting Club. He was a bicyclist having built his own bikes, a runner, and a member of the amateur radio club. Joseph could build or fix anything and was an inventor with over 50 patents. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and woodworking.
A masonic service will start at 11:30 A.M. followed by the memorial service on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011, with the Rev. Timothy Munson, Chaplain at Caring Hospice, officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
