John V. Senise, of Camp Hill, passed away on Tuesday June 10, 2014 at the Manor Care Health Services, Carlisle.
Born on February 27, 1921 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Luke A. and Anna B. (Carcia) Senise.
He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. He also earned a certificate of achievement from Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations. He was a US Army Air force Veteran of WWII. John retired from the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry, after 30 years of employment. At the time of his retirement, he was Executive Director of the Bureau of employment and Unemployment Compensation. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill, and also VFW Lodge # 03540
He was the widower of Leona S. (Sudnick) Senise and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday June 16, 2014 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011, with the Rev. Paul C. Helwig as Celebrant. Burial with military honors will be held following the mass in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. There will be no viewing or visitation.
